The advertisement was used in an annual publication. The aim of the advert was not only to provide contact details but also to inform people about the natural diversity of the local fauna and flora while at the same time showing a destination where visitors can enjoy spending time in nature and immerse themselves in the area.
The map was supplied by Kleinmond Tourism. I used a stock photo of a surfer at sunset with vibrant colors to make the image pop out from other adverts near it as the background. I blended it with the map in order to create one image from it to provide the location. The thumbnail images of the protea and the penguins were my own photos. The photo of the person on the tube was supplied by Kleinmond Tourism.
